Junior (17 years old and under) Home Club Skater

U.S. Figure Skating Membership for Skater (17 years old and under) and a Parent $158

Full Skating Member, entitled to all BFSC benefits:

Skate in BFSC sponsored programs- exhibitions, special events and social functions.
Skater may test and compete representing BFSC.
Eligible to skate on club ice at a discounted rate and first priority for walk-on.
Discounted fees for BFSC test sessions with priority scheduling.
Eligible to receive a credit on Entryeeze for one test taken during the current skating season.
Eligible to receive a $50 credit on Entryeeze for competing in one competition during the current skating season OR one skating seminar.

Member receives a U.S. Figure Skating membership card, subscription to SKATING magazine (one per family), certificates of recognition for passing tests, and U.S. Figure Skating Sports accident insurance.

Membership includes BFSC email communications, the opportunity to volunteer for club activities, Parent voting privileges and Parent Board eligibility. Club jackets are available for purchase with this membership.

Required to fulfill all volunteer and financial duties: Skater and Parent volunteers during Autumn Skills Competition/Test Session.

Senior (18 years old and up) Home Club Skater

U.S. Figure Skating membership (18 years old and up) $106

Aspire Skater

U.S. Figure Skating Membership for first-time skater at a discounted rate, one-time membership for Aspire program skater only

Aspire Home Club Membership $70

Entitled to all BFSC benefits:

Reduced membership fee.
Eligible to participate in the Brooklyn Blades on Ice Aspire program.
Skate in BFSC sponsored programs- exhibitions (group routines), special events and social functions.
Skater may test representing BFSC at the Pre-Preliminary and lower or Adult Pre-Bronze and lower levels and the 12 preliminary dances.
Skater may compete representing BFSC at the Preliminary and lower or Adult bronze and lower levels and the 12 preliminary dances.
Eligible to skate on club ice at a discounted rate and first priority for walk-on.
Discounted fees for BFSC test sessions with priority scheduling.
Eligible to receive a credit on Entryeeze for one test taken during the current skating season.
Eligible to receive a $50 credit on Entryeeze for competing in one competition during the current skating season OR one skating seminar.

Membership includes BFSC email communications, the opportunity to volunteer for club activities, voting privileges for 18 or older. First year members are not eligible for the Board. Club apparel is available for purchase with this membership.

Athletes 18 and over are required to complete SafeSport. Skaters and Parent must fulfill all financial duties.

Additional Home Club Skater

U.S. Figure Skating Membership for sibling/parent/spouse of a Junior or Senior Home Club Member $75

Full Skating Member, entitled to all BFSC benefits:

Intro Junior Home Club Membership for Skater (17 years old and under) and a Parent $122

Introductory Senior Home Club Membership (18 years old and up) $70

Skater may test and compete representing BFSC.
Eligible to skate on club ice at a discounted rate and first priority for walk-on.
Discounted fees for BFSC test sessions with priority scheduling.
Eligible to receive a credit on Entryeeze for one test taken during the current skating season.
Eligible to receive a $50 credit on Entryeeze for competing in one competition during the current skating season OR one skating seminar.

Membership includes BFSC email communications, the opportunity to volunteer for club activities, voting privileges and Board eligibility, for 18 and over. Club jackets are available for purchase with this membership. Volunteer and financial duties for collegiate skaters are waived for the 4 years.

Athletes 18 years old and up are required to complete SafeSport. Skaters may use this membership option only once during their skating career.

Associate Member

Full member in good standing from another club $75

Skater is eligible to skate on club ice at a discounted rate, has second priority for walk-on to club ice, is eligible for Home Club test prices and priority scheduling, and invited to perform in the Spring Ice Show. This member may not vote and is not eligible for the Board.

Home Club Member – Coach/Official/Delegate

U.S. Figure Skating membership (18 years old and up) $50

Skate in BFSC sponsored programs- exhibitions, special events and social functions.
Skaters may test and compete representing BFSC.
Eligible to skate on club ice at a discounted rate and first priority for walk-on.

Eligible to receive a $50 credit on Entryeeze for competing in one competition during the current skating season OR one skating seminar.

Associate Coach

Full member in good standing from another club- no charge

Brooklyn Figure Skating Club welcomes coaches from other clubs. There is no charge to teach on BFSC ice but you must be a compliant coach with U.S. Figure Skating, NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are coaching for the first time in the skating season, please obtain club permission at brooklynfscohio@gmail.com or contact our Coach Liaison, GraceAnn Demarest prior to taking the ice.
