BFSC Adults Compete at ISU Competition

The Brooklyn FSC of Ohio is proud of their adult skaters! Several skaters recently competed at the ISU North American Adult Competition in Nashville, TN. Congratulations!

And that’s a wrap on the ISU North American Adult Competition! For the first time in a long time, skating wasn’t about points or placement or medals. It was about being proud of what I’ve accomplished in a relatively short time to be here. My skate wasn’t perfect but the solo skating fire has been sparked again. Thank you Anthony for supporting and pushing me from the other side of the boards until you can be back out there with me.

I had an amazing week with my friends from around the world enjoying skating and sharing time with them all while representing not our club but the USA as we continue to skate through life! I feel truly blessed to have the support of the club and encourage the kids to find their joy in life and pursue it fully. Skating has been a fantastic release from the every day of life.

Fall Exhibition a Huge Success!

Congratulations to all who skated in the BFSC Fall Exhibition on Sunday, October 15! You were amazing!! We love that so many skaters chose ” being with friends” as their favorite thing about skating❤️! A special thank you to Justin Steck for announcing the show!

Test Session Coming to Brooklyn in November!

The Brooklyn Figure Skating Club will be hosting a virtual test session with a video submission deadline of Friday, November 17, 2023.  We will have a gold panel for moves, free skate, pairs, and dance (plus international dances).

The test sign up deadline is Friday, November 10 at 11:59 PM.  If there is additional space in the test session, we may allow some late entries with a late fee after the deadline.

Videos cannot be recorded any earlier than Friday, October 20, 2023.  Please see our test page on the Brooklyn Figure Skating Club website for more information on how to record and submit your tests.
