The Brooklyn Figure Skating Club will be holding an off-ice skating class that includes elements of strength, conditioning, plyometrics, off-ice jumps practice, and high-intensity interval training.  This class will be held on Saturdays (starting September 7) from 11:15-11:45 AM before the Saturday club ice sessions.  We will be using the equipment the BFSC was able to buy with a grant from the Greater Cleveland Council of Figure Skating Clubs.  It is a great way to warm up for an afternoon of skating. 

The class is $5/person/class.  Please be prepared to pay cash to the instructor or Venmo/Paypal them the day of the class as the club will not handle payments for class through the Entryeeze website.  Chris Demarest will teach many of the classes, but there will be other home club instructors that will lead the class as well.  

We will also make the off-ice equipment available to any skater or home club coach prior to all club ice sessions.

Our fall/winter/spring season runs from September 7, 2024 through May 31, 2025.

The Brooklyn Figure Skating Club will host its fall membership meeting on Saturday, September 14 from 2-3 PM. Come learn about all the exciting events the club has in store for the 2024-25 season! The club will provide pizza and water. Any club members that would like to bring a side dish, the club would welcome them! We will see you there!

The Brooklyn FSC of Ohio hosted the Northeast Ohio Learn to Skate USA competition series award ceremony! Skaters were recognized for their accomplishments over the past skating season with medals, games, and a pizza party! A huge thank you to our BFSC families who helped out this afternoon and congratulations to all of the skaters! . #LearnToSkateUSA

Congratulations to BFSC members Baylee and Alice on their awards for the Northeast Ohio Learn to Skate USA competition series! Baylee finished in 1st place in the High Beginner Free Skate event and Alice finished in 2nd place in the ASPIRE 2 Free Skate event!

The Brooklyn Figure Skating Club will be hosting a virtual test session with a video submission deadline of Friday, September 20, 2024.  We will have a gold panel for moves, free skate, pairs, and dance (plus international dances).

The test sign up deadline is Monday, September 16 at 11:59 PM.  If there is additional space in the test session, we may allow some late entries with a late fee after the deadline.
