Three Brooklyn skaters competed at the Skate Detroit competition held July 21-23. All skated very well in their events! One of our skaters, Natalie D, also participated in the National Qualifying Series in the Intermediate Ladies combined event. Congratulations to all of our skaters!
Several Brooklyn Figure Skating Club skaters went to the Cirque du Soleil Crystal show as it played in Cleveland. They enjoyed the amazing skating and acrobatics. They also were able to meet one of the cast members of the show. Thank you Stuart Widdal for taking time out of your busy weekend to meet with our skaters!
Several Brooklyn Figure Skating Club skaters were fortunate to be able to attend a choreography seminar held by Cirque du Soleil skaters from their Crystal show held at the Cleveland Skating Club. Our skaters were able to learn show choreography and ask questions of the performers.
The Brooklyn FSC was well represented by Kaelynn H at the 46th Annual Kathy Slack Troy Summer Competition. She competed in several showcase events and skated very well! Congratulations Kaelynn!
Natalie D passed the Westminster Waltz dance test to earn her partner dance gold medal! This gives Natalie gold medals in three disciplines of figure skating. Congratulations on another great achievement!
